When the sun slowly rose, we started the job of the day full of energy: building our indoor restaurant, the beating heart of Zeezicht. It all started with unloading the containers, full of pieces that make up our beloved beach club. It felt like solving a gigantic jigsaw puzzle, where each piece had to fall perfectly into place. The team first focused on building the walls and then the roof was slowly but surely raised by an impressive crane.
While one team designed the tent, the other half was busy creating a solid foundation: the floor. Steel frames were laid with millimeter precision, making our terrace slightly higher. This allows our guests to enjoy the terrace even when the weather is not so nice, without having to worry about getting their feet wet.
But there was more than just building the physical structure of Zeezicht. We wanted to make sure that our beloved beach tent looked great for the coming season. That's why it was also time to pay some loving attention to our interior. With brushes in hand, we gave our store a new coat of paint, so that we look completely fresh and new for our guests.
With every brushstroke and bolt tightened, we felt the excitement grow. Our beach club was starting to take shape, ready to embrace the summer adventures and wonderful memories ahead.
