The paint team started off with enthusiasm again today; with precision and dedication, every corner and surface was given a fresh coat of paint. Because at Zeezicht, we believe that a new season also requires a fresh look! In addition to our standard blue/gray colors, there was also room for a pink touch this year! This is because our man cave got a soft color, the ceiling was painted in old pink!
While the paint team was having fun, another part of our team was busy with our heavy, but oh so important umbrellas. These giant umbrellas are an essential part of our terrace and setting them up is a real effort. With a minimum of eight people per umbrella, they were carefully assembled into the specially tailored frames. Once brought into place, they were precisely secured and provided with lighting. And let's not forget to tighten the curtain, what a job!
While the umbrellas were being set up, others were working on the wind barriers, which will soon provide a wonderfully sheltered spot on our terrace. Every wind shot was carefully installed, because even a few centimetres of difference can make a difference. This is because when it is not in good condition, the umbrellas can no longer open, and in the evening, that keeps you warmer and out of the wind.
With every turn of the brush and each bolt that was tightened, we felt the excitement grow. The contours of Sea View were increasingly taking shape, ready to welcome guests for a new season of sun, sea and bliss.
